Hello and Welcome

I’m Emma Keen (and yes, I’m keen to be here!)

I'm beyond excited that you've found this corner of the internet - a space dedicated to sustainable success and mindful achievement.

As a performance psychologist with a perpetual love of learning, I've spent over 15 years exploring a question that fascinates me: how can ambitious women pursue their goals while maintaining their energy and wellbeing? This curiosity has shaped my approach to performance psychology, leading me to discover strategies that support sustainable achievement.

When I'm not diving into learning and research or working with clients, you might find me pursuing my own athletic goals, getting creative with my paint brush, or researching my next learning adventure (yes, I probably have a tab open right now with another degree - any recommendations?).

Here at Sustainable Mindsets, I work exclusively with busy, professional women to equip you with practical, sustainable strategies that boost resilience, enhance performance and ensure mindful momentum towards ambitious goals.

Pillars of Sustainable Mindsets

Balance

Recovery is something you can integrate into your everyday life. It’s not about doing less—it’s about aligning your actions with what fuels your energy, sharpens your focus, and nurtures your well-being. When you prioritise balance, it becomes the foundation for long-term success.

Achieve

The real magic happens when you can chase your biggest goals without fear of burnout. Success is about discovering a journey that’s as rewarding as the destination—where each step brings personal growth, resilience, and fulfilment. It’s about strengthening yourself while you achieve, not just celebrating the milestones.

Excel

We celebrate the pursuit of your personal and professional best—where growth comes from pushing boundaries without pushing yourself to the edge. Thriving means turning challenges into opportunities, and excelling means aligning your skills with your goals in a way that keeps you energised and empowered. You’re owning your strengths and creating your own path to success.

My work might be for you if…

  • You’re seeking lasting strategies that fuel your resilience, sharpen your mental clarity, and elevate your performance—without the burnout. You know there’s more to success than pushing harder, and you’re ready to find a better way.

  • You know there’s more to success than pushing harder, and you’re ready to find a better way.

You also don’t want success to come at the cost of your well-being. If you're looking for strategies to help you maintain your peak performance without burning out, we’ve got you covered.

  • Whether you’re returning from maternity leave, a career break, or looking to take the next step after some time off, we’ll help you map out a clear path forward. We’ll guide you in finding the strategies that align with your energy and your goals, so you can thrive in this next phase.

  • If taking a break leaves you feeling guilty, you’re not alone—but you don’t have to live that way. If you’re ready to drop the productivity guilt and learn how to rest strategically without losing momentum, this space is for you.

  • If your days are a labyrinth of tasks, roles, and responsibilities, and you’re looking for smarter ways to manage it all without dropping the ball, our programs will help you streamline and navigate your busy life with more ease and less stress.

But might not be for you if…

  • If you’re currently seeking 1:1 therapy for clinical mental health concerns, or if you're in the midst of burnout needing therapeutic recovery, this may not be the best fit for now. Our focus is on enhancing personal and professional growth, but our programs are not a substitute for individualised medical or psychological treatment. It’s important to seek one-on-one therapeutic support if that’s what you need at this stage in your journey.

  • If burnout is affecting your ability to handle day-to-day tasks, and you're dealing with issues like disrupted sleep, anxiety, low mood, or physical health concerns, professional recovery support might be more beneficial for you right now. Our programs are about proactive strategies to prevent the occurrence, and when you’re able to engage in that space, we’d love to have you join us.

  • While we foster a supportive and connected community, our programs focus on personal and professional development, not primarily on social interaction. If your main goal is to find a social group, you may not find what you’re looking for here—but we hope our community can still offer some connection along the way.

  • Our programs thrive on ongoing learning, self-reflection, and experimenting with strategies to discover what works best for you. If you’re looking for a quick, one-size-fits-all fix, this might not be the right fit. We believe that long-term success comes from engaging with the process and continuously refining your approach.

  • Life can be demanding, and sometimes it’s just not the right time to commit to personal development. If you’re in a phase where other priorities require all your attention and energy, that’s okay! When life settles down and you’re ready to focus on yourself, we’ll be here to welcome you.
